Our section includes Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Northern Idaho - above the 45th parallel - and British Columbia, Canada, making it the largest geographical section of the United States Tennis Association. Over 200 volunteers and 300 tournaments make up the backbone for grassroots tennis in the region. We strive for excellence and are dedicated to serving tennis enthusiasts throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Section's first QuickStart Tennis Workshop is this Saturday in Portland

The USTA Pacific Northwest will host the section's first Recreational QuickStart Tennis Workshop at Portland Tennis Center on May 10. This three hour interactive on-court workshop is for beginning tennis teachers, recreational coaches, parent coaches and volunteers. It will give an overview of the QuickStart Tennis format and the QuickStart Tennis practice plans that help children learn and develop the skills necessary to play tennis. Experience the 2008 US Open from the net: Become a ball person

Seize the opportunity to be an integral part of 2008 US Open match play and apply to serve as an official US Open ball person. The USTA Pacific Northwest would like to give qualified junior players a chance to experience the final Grand Slam of the year on court in New York. The section will award up to two (2) $1000 grants to qualified applicants to help offset travel expenses incurred by participating in the US Open. Please continue to the next page to learn more.
