The role of the USTA Pacific Northwest (USTA/PNW) League Committee is to oversee rules and regulations for the USTA/PNW and to assist communities in the development, training and promotion of USTA League tennis.
The USTA/PNW League Committee has been charged with the responsibility to assure that our section’s regulations are fair, relevant and comprehensive enough to facilitate all levels of play; to propose revisions to USTA/PNW regulations when appropriate; and to promote greater awareness and understanding of the Rules of Tennis and the USTA/PNW League Regulations.
Captains who wish to submit a proposal for a rule change may do so by completing the Regulation and Procedure Request for Change or Discussion form.
Forward the completed form to your Local League Coordinator for review; once reviewed it will be sent to USTA/PNW Adult/Senior Recreational Programs Director Sheila Banks for consideration and will then be presented to the USTA/PNW League Committee at their annual meeting for discussion. If approved, the rationale for changes will appear in the annual publication of the USTA/PNW League Regulations.
