USTA Adult Mixed Doubles League play in Southern Oregon will take place September 4 - December 3, 2009. We are still looking for 2.5 and 10.0 teams so the season will be extended if these teams register. Also, the 9.0 division will finish its season on January 24, 2010. The ratings that apply are the 2010 early-start ratings. The levels of play will include 2.5, 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, 9.0, and 10.0. Ratings are the sum of the partnership's ratings except at the 2.5 level. Playoffs will be January 9-10, 2010 in the Medford/Ashland area where necessary. Starting this year, anyone turning age 18 in 2009 and older will be eligible to play this fall.
Senior Mixed Doubles
USTA Senior Mixed Doubles League team registration form - Southern Oregon
Team registration is open now and will run until Friday, November 20. We hope to have captains scheduling their matches by December 15, 2009. Players can register for teams as soon as the 2009 year-end ratings are published and team numbers are assigned. League play will be January 2 through March 1, 2010. Levels of play will be 6.0, 7.0, 8.0 and 9.0. Year-end 2009 ratings will apply and anyone turning 50 during the year 2010 is eligible to play. Playoffs will be in June if necessary. The section championships will be held August 15-17, 2010 in Sunriver, Ore. You can access the team registration form by clicking the link posted above.
Note: Southern Oregon has the additional wild cards at the 6.0 and 9.0 levels. This means double the chance to go to sectionals for teams in those divisions.
