Schedule a USTA Pacific Northwest School In-Service Training

USTA Pacific Northwest (USTA/PNW) School Tennis is the sport for your Physical Education classes, intramural and extracurricular programs!

Tennis is the ideal vehicle to help kids learn not only a sport but self-confidence, sportsmanship and the habits of an energetic, healthy lifestyle. We are committed to ensuring all kids have opportunities to play and learn the lifetime sport of tennis. Click here to learn more on how you can partner with the USTA Pacific Northwest Section and enjoy the benefits of bringing tennis to your school.

Have students playing tennis in the first 30 minutes!
USTA/PNW School Tennis provides a positive environment for students to learn to play tennis for the first time as the program is designed to have your students rallying and playing tennis games from day one.

Make teaching easier!
Upon partnering with the USTA/PNW, schools and teachers will receive a FREE in-service tennis training and ongoing support from the USTA staff. Credit for state-approved clock hours may also be available upon advance arrangement.

The USTA/PNW assists school districts (with or without traditional tennis courts) by providing a free, 2.5-hour teacher training that demonstrates fun and effective methods for introducing tennis to large numbers of students in Physical Education classrooms and/or extracurricular settings.  Additionally, school districts will receive the teacher-friendly USTA School Tennis curriculum, access to equipment discounts and grant opportunities for extracurricular interscholastic and intramural programs.

For more information please contact USTA/PNW Community Tennis Service Consultant Karen Green by email at kgreen@pnw.usta.com or by phone at (503) 454-6774. Return to the USTA/PNW School Tennis website to read more about our school programming.
