USTA Pacific Northwest presents 2011 award winners
The USTA Pacific Northwest (USTA/PNW) recognized its 2011 award winners and Hall of Fame inductees during a lunch held in their honor at the Hilton Bellevue in Bellevue, Wash., on Saturday, October 15.
The award winners include the following:
DISTINGUISHED SERVICE
Distinguished service awards are given to recognize outstanding service by USTA members who have given unselfishly of volunteer time to help grow tennis throughout the section. It is based on time served on USTA/PNW Board of Directors, Committees or Staff.

COMMUNITY CHAMPION
Community Champion awards are presented to recognize "ground level" contributors who are often the unrecognized "movers and shakers" that make things happen at the local level for community based programs. Areas of impact may be in Schools, Team Tennis, public outreach/programs, community partnerships or trainings.
