Job Announcement (12/6/11) - Assistant Tennis Professional

The Boeing Employees Tennis Club in Kent, Wash., is looking for an Assistant Tennis Professional, effective immediately. USPTA/PTR certification is highly desired. We are primarily looking for a highly energetic and motivated professional who possesses excellent people skills and excels in training junior players. An extensive and recent playing background at the collegiate or pro level is a plus.
The professional will be primarily responsible for teaching private lessons to juniors, though he/she will work with adult players as well. In addition, responsibilities include assisting group lessons, socials, tennis camps and other special events. The position also entails some travel to junior tournaments and running or assisting special junior events.
Approximate teaching hours will be 20-25 hours per week. Compensation is in the form of a lesson commission for private lessons, and an hourly rate to assist.
