"One" Doubles League designed with today's player in mind
After being met with enthusiasm and enjoying success in its first year, the USTA Pacific Northwest (USTA/PNW) will once again offer the “One” Doubles League this summer. The USTA/PNW “One” Doubles League is designed to allow teams to schedule their own matches at their convenience on courts of their choice. Last year, nearly 300 players participated in the league with competition held throughout the section in the men’s and women’s 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 divisions.
When you join the USTA/PNW “One” Doubles League in your area, not only will you have the opportunity to compete in local competition but you’ll also be eligible to compete for both a section and national championship. In the fall, winners from each of the local leagues advance to the section championship where teams compete for a chance to win a national championship in their respective NTRP level at the BNP Paribas Open Tri-Level Championship held the following spring during the final weekend of the BNP Paribas Open (formerly known as the Pacific Life Open), an ATP and WTA tour event held in Indian Wells, Calif.
